Our family has been coming to Amelia Island for years, always staying at villas connected to the Omni. Every time, it has always been a fight or something has gone wrong with our condo, the livability of the space, etc. This year we decided to try something new and I am so incredibly grateful we did. We found Amelia Best VRR on Airbnb and we will never go back to the Omni. From the start, they were extremely responsive and helpful with our questions, extremely accommodating, and very detailed. The booking process was seamless, check in even smoother, and support throughout our stay was next level. We enjoyed it so much, we ended up booking our next trip with them on the first night of our visit! Thank you Amelia Best for a wonderful new vacation partner!

This was a perfect setting for a family vacation. The house was spacious and well-appointed. The view was amazing and we loved watching the sunrise each morning. Our host checked in several times and was available if we needed anything. I would definitely go back!

We had a wonderful time at Laily and Doris' Turtle Dunes property! ...The hosts were very attentive to our needs and responded quickly with our many questions. We can't thank you enough for going above and beyond to make our getaway very memorable. ...coordinating the baby equipment rental and being there to arrange the delivery, was much appreciated by all of us. Very clean, quiet and spacious villa. Great place to relax and the view from all rooms was amazing. Laily was very accommodating and checked in on us several times until just after check in. Everything was perfect and I couldn’t think of one thing to complain about!

I can’t say enough good things... The owner made it very clear that she was available if we had any needs whatsoever and was completely charming. We will be back for sure!

If I could give this condo 6 Stars, I would. Absolutely beautiful inside and out. Impeccably clean and well appointed. Laily was an exceptional host. I highly recommend renting from her.

10/10 – Absolutely Outstanding! Our stay at 1868 Turtle Dunes was nothing short of exceptional. This incredible oceanfront penthouse offers breathtaking, unobstructed ocean views from the front and river views from the back—truly the best of both worlds. We were absolutely awestruck by both the sunrises and sunsets. The experience was made unforgettable by our host, Doris, who delivered a level of service that is incredibly rare. We originally booked at the Racquet Club, which—frankly—is a VERY tired building. In a moment of frustration, we called Amelia Best VRR, and Doris personally answered the phone. She was extremely sympathetic to our situation, even though it had nothing to do with her or her properties. Without hesitation, Doris offered to drop everything she was doing and meet us last minute at Turtle Dunes (Omni) to show us what she had available. That alone says everything about her commitment to her guests. We have stayed in many 5-star hotels, resorts, and luxury accommodations, and Doris’ penthouse stands right alongside them. The unit was outstanding—large bedrooms and bathrooms, modern coastal furnishings, and excellent common areas. The photos truly do not do this place justice. What impressed us most was that the penthouse was spotless and smelled fresh and clean during an unplanned showing—something that speaks volumes about the standards Doris and her team uphold. Throughout our stay, Doris and her team checked in regularly, provided fantastic restaurant and sightseeing recommendations, and made us feel genuinely cared for from start to finish. If you’re considering staying at Turtle Dunes—or anywhere Doris manages—do not hesitate! This was a luxury experience in every sense of the word, and we cannot wait to return. I almost do not want to give a review, because I don’t want the secret to get out! This is the best place to stay on Amelia Island! We have been vacationing on the Island for over 20 years, and there is NOT a better place to vacation than at this condo!
After two decades of coming to Fernandina Beach, we’ve stayed in our fair share of properties, but nothing compares to this. The condo itself is beautifully maintained, pristine, and incredibly comfortable, but the setting is what makes it truly magical. Watching the sun rise over the ocean in the mornings and watching the sunset over the marsh in the evenings became unforgettable memories for our family.
It has completely ruined all other rentals for us. Unmatched location, incredible views, and the absolute perfect vacation spot!!
